Tickets & Sponsorship

Sponsor the Event
Become a corporate or personal sponsor and celebrate our 200-year legacy as Western Canada's oldest, and Canada's second oldest, independent school.  Each level includes recognition, gift card packages and access to the event.

All individual sponsorship packages include food and wine gift cards with the option to decline and receive an increased Charitable Tax Receipt.  Corporate sponsorships are not eligible for a Charitable Tax Receipt.

Tickets
Each participant receives access to the virtual event.  One gift card
package includes $75 in gift cards for food and wine, from Wow! Hospitality and Piazza De Nardi, to be used for the event or at your leisure.  Gift cards are for Winnipeg vendors only.

All individual, patron couple and patron family tickets include food and wine gift cards with the option to decline and receive an increased Charitable Tax Receipt.

Proceeds from the SJR200+1 Virtual Gala will support campus sustainability to ensure our campus grounds and all our buildings are maintained and preserved for today and generations to follow.

Any additional donation made when purchasing your tickets will support these initiatives.  All donations are eligible to receive a charitable tax receipt.

In accordance with CRA, charitable tax receipts cannot be issued to businesses for sponsorship of events. CRA defines a sponsorship "when a business makes a donation to a charity and, in return, receives advertising or promotion of its brand, products or services. Providing sponsorship to a charity or to a charitable event is not a gift, and a charity generally cannot issue a receipt for sponsorship."

SJR will issue invoices for receipt of payment to businesses in place of a charitable tax receipt. Should the business opt out of receiving recognition, a tax receipt can be issued. This applies to businesses only.

Individuals will receive a tax receipt in the full amount of their sponsorship minus a portion of the ticket price.

All individual (not corporate) sponsorship packages include food and wine gift cards with the option to decline and receive an increased Charitable Tax Receipt.

All individual, patron couple and patron family ticket packages include food and wine gift cards with the option to decline and receive an increased Charitable Tax Receipt.
